Dan considers himself to be a truly global citizen, having visited, lived and worked in several dozen countries, including the United States, Israel and South Africa. He previously headed Media & Public Affairs at the Cape South African Jewish Board of Deputies, and served as Executive Director of the South Africa-Israel Forum. He is academically published and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Oregon.
Natan is passionate about high-impact experiences and connecting like-minded people. He has extensive experience leading groups to a variety of innovation ecosystems. Before co-founding En-novate, he was the National Chair of the South African Union of Jewish Students, as well as strongly involved in the South Africa-Israel Forum. He holds an Honours degree in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg, and is passionate about Martial Arts.
Shirley is passionate about making a positive social impact in South Africa through entrepreneurship. Prior to joining En-novate, she lived in the United States for five years, where she was engaged in projects that explored globalisation and economic development in Sub-Saharan Africa. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Minors in Economics and Business Administration from Principia College. In her spare time, she is involved in various social justice projects.
Setlogane Manchidi (Non-Executive Director)
Setlogane is Investec’s head of Corporate Social Investment (CSI) in South Africa. He holds a Masters of Commerce from the University of Johannesburg. His dissertation topic was ‘Factors necessary to enhance effective implementation of CSI in South Africa’.
Sheraan Amod (Non-Executive Director)
Sheraan is a serial technology entrepreneur, having previously founded the personalised publishing start-up Personera, later acquired by Impression Works, the seed investment company Springlab, and Recomed. He spent two years in New York with his start-up, and returned to South Africa to pursue high growth opportunities in both developed and emerging markets.
Ashley comes from a financial services background where he spent eight years honing his banking and sales knowledge. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics Science and Finance from the University of Witwatersrand. He is fascinated by innovation and disruptive technology in a variety of sectors and is a passionate South African sports fan and an avid golfer.
Before joining the En-novate team, Lindi worked in large organisations in South Africa and the United Kingdom, including Investec, Ernst & Young and Marks and Spencer. Having graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, Insurance and Risk Management, she also completed a Postgraduate diploma in Business Management from the Wits Business School.
