Dan Brotman (Founder & CEO)
Dan is a dual South African-American citizen, and originally hails from Boston, Massachusetts. He has lived and worked in 60 countries, and considers his life mission to help others become global citizens. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Oregon. He is a frequent contributor to various business publications on policy issues, ranging from small business development to immigration reform.
Nikki Kennedy (Accounting)
Nikki is the founder of NK Accounting Services, and has been managing En-novate's finances since the company's inception. She holds a B Comm (Accounting) from the University of Pretoria and BCompt (Hons) from the University of South Africa, as well as various qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK).
Shirley Moihloe (Experience Lead)
Shirley is passionate about making a positive social impact in South Africa through entrepreneurship. Prior to joining En-novate, she lived in the United States for five years, where she was engaged in projects that explored globalisation and economic development in Sub-Saharan Africa. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Minors in Economics and Business Administration from Principia College. In her spare time, she is involved in various social justice projects.
Barry Morisse (Experience & Research Lead)
Barry is a qualified CA(SA) and holds Bachelor and Honours degrees in Accounting Science from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is currently completing his Masters in Philosophy, with a focus on the Applied Ethics of Artificial Intelligence. Prior to joining En-novate, he spent three years in investment banking and data science.
Ashley Robinson (Head of Sales)
Ashley comes from a financial services background where he spent eight years honing his banking and sales knowledge. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics Science and Finance from the University of Witwatersrand. He is fascinated by innovation and disruptive technology in a variety of sectors and is a passionate South African sports fan and an avid golfer.
Lindi Serebro (Head of Operations)
Before joining the En-novate team, Lindi worked in large organisations in South Africa and the United Kingdom, including Investec, Ernst & Young and Marks and Spencer. Having graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, Insurance and Risk Management, she also completed a Postgraduate diploma in Business Management from the Wits Business School.
Kate Taylor (Administrator)
Kate has extensive experience in administration and project management. She previously served as the Programme Coordinator of the Social Entrepreneurship Programme at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Sheraan Amod (Non-Executive Director)
Sheraan is a serial technology entrepreneur, having previously founded the personalised publishing start-up Personera, later acquired by Impression Works, the seed investment company Springlab, and Recomed. He spent two years in New York with his start-up, and returned to South Africa to pursue high growth opportunities in both developed and emerging markets.
Setlogane Manchidi (Non-Executive Director)
Setlogane is Investec’s head of Corporate Social Investment (CSI) in South Africa. He holds a Masters of Commerce from the University of Johannesburg. His dissertation topic was ‘Factors necessary to enhance effective implementation of CSI in South Africa’.
